It replicates the structure of native human type III collagen, a key component naturally present in the skin and associated with elasticity and suppleness. Produced through biotechnology, SRHC® Type III is vegan and non-GMO.

Available studies indicate that it helps support skin comfort and barrier function, while contributing to improvements in parameters related to skin elasticity and overall appearance under cosmetic use conditions.

SRHC® Type III is available in different physical forms (fine powder or sponge-like mass), with a molecular weight range of 10 to 55 kDa. It is suitable for incorporation into aqueous or emulsified cosmetic formulations.

Its stability and high biocompatibility make it suitable for leave-on systems, especially formulations targeting skin barrier repair, elasticity and overall skin comfort.
