Description
Mini-ReCol® Type III is a recombinant human type III collagen obtained through a fermentation process using yeast.
It corresponds to a low molecular weight fragment (~5 kDa) derived from the α1 chain of human type III collagen, a key structural component of the skin’s extracellular matrix.
Type III collagen is naturally involved in skin repair, elasticity and tissue regeneration, particularly in younger skin and during recovery phases.
Thanks to its reduced molecular size, Mini-ReCol® Type III is designed to closely interact with the skin surface while remaining consistent with the native human collagen structure.
